Little Boy Blue
Believers say indigo kids are the next wave of evolution. Sort of like X-Men, but without the cool uniforms.

My favorite quote:

Quote:
Perhaps it is pointless to question the credibility of people like James Twyman or Doreen Virtue. They are, after all, people who believe in pink force fields and blue halos, ideas that seem certifiably crazy. Then again, a large chunk of Dallas--make that America--believes that a 33-year-old carpenter died, went to heaven and returned three days later a resurrected being. And there's no shortage of people making money off of that idea.

I'm a necromancer! Or at least, I play one on the internet.

That entire article though was just extremely depressing to read. It was so sad watching the father's journey down the woo hole, despite repeated moments of lucid thought where he had an inkling it was all bullshit. But apparently thinking was too hard, and it's just easier to buy into a load of crap on why your kid is a spoiled brat who can't focus in a classroom and is unmanagable at home.

Far better to believe they're "special" than to realize there's a problem. At least, far easier and more comfortable for now.

And there will be money to be made later on the 'recovery' and 'healing' of Indigo Children who were ill prepared for life by this bullshit and discover that being a spoiled adult doesn't work too well in the real world.

I don't need a crystal ball to see the potential bonanza of cash that awaits that future. Books, lecture tours, healing seminars, $$$ cha-ching! Sad

And I'm the King of Antarctica!

We're not evolving. We're de-evolving. Devo was right. Dare to be stupid!
